Major General Omar Bundy (June 17, 1861 – January 20, 1940) was a career United States Army officer who was a veteran of the American Indian Wars, Spanish–American War, Philippine–American War, Pancho Villa Expedition, and World War I. Bundy retired in 1925, and was a resident of Washington, D.C. In 1938 he suffered a stroke that left him in ill health and with partial paralysis. He died in Washington on January 20, 1940 and was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
