The 103rd Infantry Division ("Cactus Division") was a unit of the United States Army that served in the U.S. Seventh Army of the 6th Army Group during World War II. It was variously assigned to the VI Corps, XV Corps, and XXI Corps. By war's end it was part of VI Corps' dash across Bavaria into the Alps, reaching Innsbruck, Austria, taking the Brenner Pass, and earning the honor of linking up with the U.S. Fifth Army coming north from Vipiteno, Italy, joining the Italian and Western European fronts on 4 May 1945.

Elle est créée le 15 octobre 1942 et après deux ans d'entraînement, elle est envoyée en Europe, arrivant à Marseille le 20 octobre 1944. Elle relève la 3e division à Chevry au début du mois de novembre, connaissant alors ses premiers combats. Le 16 novembre, elle progresse du côté de Saint-Dié, à travers le massif des Vosges, rencontrant une violente résistance. Elle prend Diefenbach le 29 novembre puis Sélestat le 4 décembre. Elle pénètre quelques jours plus tard en Allemagne, testant les premières défenses de la ligne Siegfried.
