| - Oldsmobile Curved Dash war die erste Automobil-Baureihe der Olds Motor Works und war, noch vor dem Ford Modell T, das erste in Großserie hergestellte Automobil. Der Curved Dash war von 1901 bis 1904 das einzige Modell der Marke und auch das meistverkaufte Auto der Welt. Die Baureihe umfasst die nacheinander produzierten Modelle R, 6C, B und F. Ab 1906 gab es auch einen Oldsmobile Straight Dash mit gerader Front. Die Reihe wurde bis 1907 gefertigt und ohne direkten Nachfolger eingestellt. (de)

I modelli commercializzati furono quattro, ognuno con un nome diverso: il Model R (prodotto dal 1901 al 1903), il Model 6C (1904), il Model B (1905-1906) ed il Model F (1907). L'invenzione della moderna catena di montaggio ed i suoi concetti di base sono stati applicati per la prima volta sulla Curved Dash. Solo in seguito i concetti della catena di montaggio vennero migliorati ed applicati su larghissima scala da Henry Ford per la sua Model T. (it)

Nazwa tego pojazdu nawiązuje do charakterystycznej, wygiętej przedniej części nadwozia, zaprojektowanego na wzór typowych dla tego okresu powozów. Wbrew powszechnej opinii, to właśnie ten samochód stał się pierwszym masowo produkowanym samochodem, montowanym na taśmie produkcyjnej. (pl)
- The gasoline-powered Oldsmobile Model R, also known as the Curved Dash Oldsmobile, is credited as being the first mass-produced automobile, meaning that it was built on an assembly line using interchangeable parts. It was introduced by the Oldsmobile company in 1901 and produced through 1903; 425 were produced the first year, 2,500 in 1902, and over 19,000 were built in all. When General Motors assumed operations from Ransom E. Olds on November 12, 1908, GM introduced the Oldsmobile Model 20, which was the 1908 Buick Model 10 with a stretched wheelbase and minor exterior changes. (en)

- De Oldsmobile Curved Dash is een wagen van het Amerikaanse automerk Oldsmobile. Het was de eerste wagen die in massaproductie ging. Het succes van de Curved Dash valt te danken aan het feit dat toen in 1901 brand uitbrak in de fabriek van Oldsmobile het de enige wagen was die intact bleef om in productie te gaan. De Curved Dash was in productie van 1901 tot en met 1907, wat resulteerde in een totaal van om en bij de 19.000 geproduceerde exemplaren. В 1901 году было выпущено 400 машин, 2500 в следующем, а всего около 19 тысяч.
