Dom Marcos de Noronha e Brito, 8th Count of Arcos, (7 July 1771 — 6 May 1828) was a Portuguese nobleman and colonial administrator, the last viceroy of Brazil. He ruled from 21 August (or 14 October) 1806 to 22 January 1808, when John VI of Portugal, then Prince Regent of Portugal, arrived in the city of Salvador, transferring the seat of the monarchy to Brazil. During the Pernambuco revolt of 1817, he helped in the repression of rebels, some of whom were hanged. His rule was characterized by the severe persecution of smugglers and an effort to clean up the administration of justice.

Governou de 21 de agosto (ou 14 de outubro) de 1806 a 22 de janeiro de 1808, quando João VI de Portugal, príncipe-regente de Portugal, aportou na cidade de Salvador, transferindo para o Brasil a sede da monarquia. Com a chegada da família real portuguesa ao Brasil, foi transferido para a Bahia, como governador. (pt)
