Malay Roy Choudhury (born 29 October 1939) is an Indian Bengali poet, playwright, short story writer, essayist and novelist who founded the Hungryalist movement in the 1960s.

Malay Roy Choudhury (29 octobre 1939 près de Patna en Inde -) est un poète, nouvelliste, dramaturge et essayiste bengali. Il s'est d'abord fait connaitre comme un de créateur du mouvement de la Hungry generation. Il écrit dans sa langue maternelle, mais aussi en anglais. Il a été rédacteur de Zebra (1961-1965). Il a traduit William Blake, Andre Breton. Tristan Tzara, Jean Cocteau, Blaise Cendrars et Allen Ginsberg. (fr)
