The Asquith coalition ministry was the Government of the United Kingdom under the Liberal Prime Minister H. H. Asquith from May 1915 to December 1916. It was formed as a multi-party war-time coalition nine months after the beginning of the First World War but collapsed when the Conservative Party withdrew.

Mai 1915 unter dem bisherigen liberalen Premierminister Herbert Henry Asquith unter Einbeziehung der bisher in der Opposition befindlichen Conservative Party unter Andrew Bonar Law gebildet und bestand bis zu Asquiths Rücktritt am 5. Dezember 1916. Ihr folgte die Regierung Lloyd George. (de) H. H. Asquith membentuk sebuah pemerintahan koalisi masa perang pada 25 Mei 1915. Perubahan pemerintahan tersebut mengakibatkan serangkaian serangan terhadap , dan terutama terhadap Winston Churchill, oleh Partai Konservatif akibat kampanye Gallipoli dan dalam konteks . Kabinet baru tersebut meliputi sembilan menteri Partai Konservatif dan satu menteri Partai Buruh, namun para anggota Partai Liberal masih memegang sebagian besar jabatan penting. Premierem został lider liberałów Herbert Henry Asquith. Rządem od początku targały spory między liberałami a nieusatysfakcjonowanymi podziałem ministerstw konserwatystami. Rząd upadł 5 grudnia 1916 r., kiedy konserwatyści odmówili współpracy z Asquithem. Były premier i jego stronnicy przeszli do opozycji. Konserwatyści utworzyli natomiast gabinet z pozostałymi liberałami na którego czele stanął lider tych ostatnich David Lloyd George. Jego secesja oznaczała rozłam w Partii Liberalnej, który ostatecznie odsunął liberałów od władzy w Wielkiej Brytanii. (pl)
