Harry Edward "Lefty" Schaeffer (June 23, 1924 – July 12, 2008) was an American professional baseball pitcher who appeared in five games in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the 1952 New York Yankees. A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, Schaeffer batted and threw left-handed; he was listed as 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) tall and 175 pounds (79 kg). He served in the United States Navy during World War II and attended the East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
