Roy Healy (1915–1968) was an American rocket scientist. He was a member of the American Rocket Society. During World War II, when the military significance of rockets was recognized, Roy Healy, at the time a civilian engineer, was sent by Dover Air Force Base to Burma. There he supervised the installation of rocket launchers on fighter planes, to be used against the Japanese in Southeast Asia, and provided training for this new equipment. He supervised the modifications made to the mounts on the P-51A in the field so that the aircraft could carry both bombs and rocket launchers.
