| - التصريح الأمني أو «الترخيص الأمني» هي حالة تُمنح لبعض الأفراد مما يسمح لهم بالوصول إلى المعلومات السرية (أسرار الدولة أو المنظمة) أو إلى المناطق المحظورة، وذلك بعد إلإجتياز والانتهاء من فحوصات شاملة معينة. يستخدم مصطلح «التصريح الأمني» أيضاً في بعض الأحيان في المؤسسات الخاصة التي لديها عملية رسمية لفحص الموظفين للوصول إلى المعلومات الحساسة. الترخيص بحد ذاته لا يكفي عادة للوصول؛ يجب أن تحدد المنظمة أيضاً أن الفرد الذي تم ترخيصه يحتاج إلى معرفة معلومات محددة، حيث لا يُفترض أن يُمنح أي شخص الوصول التلقائي إلى المعلومات المصنفة فقط بسبب الرتبة أو الوظيفة أو فقط لمجرد وجود هذا التصريح الأمني.
