Bernard Herbert "Red" Fisher (February 18, 1914 – May 5, 2006) was an American sporting goods retailer, U.S. naval and United States Coast Guard officer, newspaper columnist, and poet. With his gruff voice, he later became a popular radio and television personality in Canada. Fisher was inducted into the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame in 1988. In 2000, he released a collection of stories and anecdotes from his life called Tight Lines and Tall Tales (ISBN 9780968976104). A portion of the profits was donated to outdoor conservation efforts.

Né aux États-Unis, il devient tôt une légende du monde de la pêche dans son pays. Il exerce d'abord le métier de détaillant sportif et d'officer de la marine et de la garde côtière. En 1948, il est intronisé au temple de la renommée de la pêche. Lorsqu'il déménagea au Canada en 1963, il lança une émission variétés à la radio appelée The Red Fisher Show. Cette émission ayant eu un grand succès, il passa à la télévision en 1968. (fr)
