Peter Tazelaar (5 May 1920 – 6 June 1993) was a member of the Dutch resistance during World War II and worked as an agent for the SOE. Following the war he served in Dutch East Indies, before returning to Europe to work behind the Iron Curtain in Eastern Europe for the United States, which served as an inspiration for Ian Fleming's James Bond series.

  • Peter Tazelaar (Fort de Kock (Nederlands-Indië), 5 mei 1920 – Hindeloopen, 6 juni 1993) was een Nederlands verzetsstrijder die eerst als Engelandvaarder uit Nederland vertrok en later als spion terugkeerde naar Nederland. Hoewel zijn missie grotendeels mislukte, ontving hij in 1944 toch de Militaire Willems-Orde. Na de oorlog fungeerde Tazelaar enige tijd als adjudant van koningin Wilhelmina, samen met zijn vriend Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema. (nl)
