Minor league baseball teams were based in Meriden, Connecticut in various seasons between 1884 and 1913. Meriden teams played as members of the Connecticut State League (1884–1885), Southern New England League (1885), Eastern League (1886), Connecticut State League (1888, 1891, 1895, 1897–1902), Connecticut League (1903), Connecticut State League (1904-1905, 1908), Connecticut Association (1910) and Eastern Association (1913). Baseball Hall of Fame members Connie Mack (1884), Frank Grant (1887) and Ed Walsh (1902–1903) played for Meriden minor league teams.
