Matthew Anderson (March 9, 1822 – April 22, 1910) was an Irish American immigrant, businessman, and famous Democratic politician. He served four years in the Wisconsin State Senate and one year in the State Assembly, representing western Dane County. Earlier in life, he served as mayor of Bellefontaine, Ohio.
