Jonathan David Nurse (born 28 March 1981) is a Barbadian football coach and former professional footballer who is a first-team coach at Southern Football League club Metropolitan Police. Nurse began his career at Sutton United in 2003, spending a season with the club before signing for Stevenage Borough ahead of the 2004–05 season. During the season, he was loaned out to Conference South club Lewes, before returning to his parent club and being part of the team that narrowly missed out on promotion to the Football League. He spent two further seasons at Stevenage, winning the FA Trophy during the 2006–07 season. At the start of that season, Nurse was briefly loaned out to Woking.
