It is best known for being the home of The Cure for over 20 years. It was originally a part of Polydor, but in January 2014, Universal restructured Fiction as a standalone label, removing it from Polydor's corporate affiliation. Egli fu così colpito dal suono di quel gruppo che decise così di dar vita a un suo progetto finora mai realizzato: la fondazione di una sua etichetta discografica, la Fiction Records appunto, iscrivendo i Cure come prima band gestita. - Fiction Records – wytwórnia płytowa założona w 1978 przez jako wytwórnia podległa Polydorowi, dla której nagrywać miała grupa The Cure. Wytwórnia miała siedzibę na Charlotte Street w Londynie. Poza The Cure dla Fiction Records nagrywali Purple Hearts, Back to Zero, The Passions, Associates, Die_Warzau i Eat. Pierwszym "numerem 1" wytwórni był album Wish grupy The Cure, osiągając szczyt listy przebojów w Wielkiej Brytanii w 1992 r. Grupa The Cure opuściła wytwórnię w 2001, podpisując kontrakt z Geffen pod koniec tego samego roku. (pl)
