Christian Belz (born 11 September 1974) is a Swiss long-distance runner. He was initially a steeplechaser and represented Switzerland in the event at the World Championships in Athletics in 1999 and 2001 as well as the 2000 Summer Olympics. He broke the national record with a run of 8:22.24 in June 2001. Later that year he won two bronze medals at the 2001 Summer Universiade. A switch to road running was hindered by injury throughout 2007 to 2009. He made his final major appearance at the 2010 European Athletics Championships and announced his international retirement at the end of that year.

Il établit un nouveau record national du 10 000 m lors Championnats du monde 2005 d'Helsinki avec le temps de 27 min 53 s 16, se classant 14e de la finale. Vainqueur sur 3 000 m des Championnats de Suisse en salle en début de saison 2006, Christian Belz termine au pied du podium du 10 000 m des Championnats d'Europe de Göteborg. En 2010, le Suisse se classe sixième des Championnats d'Europe de Barcelone. Il décide de mettre un terme à sa carrière sportive à l'issue de la saison 2010. (fr)

Belz deed mee aan de Olympische Zomerspelen 2000 en de Olympische Zomerspelen 2004. Op beide spelen werd hij in de voorrondes uitgeschakeld. Belz brak in 2005 het 20 jaar oude Zwitserse record van op de 10.000 m met een 14e plaats op de wereldkampioenschappen atletiek 2005 in Helsinki.
