Geyh graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1980, and from its law school in 1983. He clerked for Hon. Thomas A. Clark on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit before joining Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. in 1984. He began his teaching career in 1991 and joined the Maurer School of Law faculty in 1999. In 2016, he was selected as an Andrew Carnegie Fellow, one of only 33 chosen nationally. (en)
