Beniamino Segre (16 February 1903 – 2 October 1977) was an Italian mathematician who is remembered today as a major contributor to algebraic geometry and one of the founders of finite geometry.

Oktober 1977 in Frascati) war ein italienischer Mathematiker, der sich vor allem mit Geometrie (algebraischer Geometrie, projektiver Geometrie, Differentialgeometrie), Funktionentheorie und Kombinatorik beschäftigte. Er ist einer der Begründer der kombinatorischen Geometrie. Das „Centro Linceo Interdisciplinare“ der Accademia dei Lincei ist nach ihm benannt. Foi um dos maiores contribuidores da geometria algébrica e um dos fundadores da geometria discreta. Nasceu e estudou em Turim. Dentre suas principais contribuições à geometria algébrica estão estudos de invariantes birrotacionais de variedades algébricas, singularidades e superfícies algébricas. Seu trabalho seguiu o estilo da antiga Escola Italiana, embora ele também apreciasse o maior rigor da geometria algébrica moderna. Outra de suas contribuições foi a introdução de estruturas finitas e não-contínuas na geometria. Em seu artigo mais conhecido ele provou o seguinte teorema: Em um de ordem ímpar, os são exatamente as cônicas irredutíveis.
