Alexander Garbowski (June 25, 1922 – June 27, 2008) was an American professional baseball player. Primarily a shortstop during his nine-year career (1946–1954) in minor league baseball, Garbowski appeared in two Major League games for the 1952 Detroit Tigers as a pinch runner. The native of Yonkers, New York, threw and batted right-handed, stood 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m) tall and weighed 185 pounds (84 kg). He was a veteran of the United States Army who served during World War II.
