| - Národní komise pro teroristické útoky na Spojené státy byla oficiální komise zřízená americkou vládou za účelem vyšetření příčin teroristických útoku z 11. září 2001. Vyšetřovací komise se za tímto účelem poprvé sešla 26. listopadu 2002 (441 dnů po útocích). Vyslechla stovky svědků a desítky jejích expertů v průběhu dalších měsíců zpracovaly zprávu. Tu komise vydala 22. července 2004 a tím účel, pro který vznikla, pominul. (cs)

- The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, also known as the 9/11 Commission, was set up on November 27, 2002, "to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11 attacks", including preparedness for and the immediate response to the attacks. The commission was also mandated to provide recommendations designed to guard against future attacks. After the publication of its final report, the commission closed on August 21, 2004.
